The property and its surroundings are amazing. It was truly a great experience for - standalone bungalows give you so much privacy. The nature around it can be observed from the balcony - this was so enjoyable during our morning coffee time. The hotel staff was also so helpful and got us through one transport emergency.

The overall package of the most beautiful and modern accommodation, very excellent food and the most friendliest and kindest hosts you will ever meet made our stay in La Fortuna the absolute highlight of Costa Rica! We even got a free night tour around their „mini jungle“ and got to see more animals, than on any other walk we payed for in different locations!

We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Set in Fortuna, 2.7 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Fortuna Retreat offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The breakfast was next to the property, and it was in the forest and very quaint. I loved the vibe, and we felt almost bad that it was included in our price! We were getting a ton for our money!

Gorgeous grounds with lots of little touches to make the place a wonderful hangout. We loved the reading and games books by the pool, the hot tub, and the plentiful garden work that brought in so much wildlife.

I really enjoyed my stay at Surf Paradise. Such a beautiful, perfect located place with nice and clean rooms, a chill vibe and the staff is soooo lovely! I would highly recommend it and would definitely come back :)

Featuring an extensive garden, a sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free Wi-Fi throughout, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park and from La Fortuna... The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. In a great location, close to the downtown core, but still far from the noise. Take advantage of the free admission for hot springs at their sister hotel and the free breakfast.

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. The staff were very friendly, always had time to chat and talk about the area, show animals they had spotted on the property. We saw the sloth that lives in the trees near the entrance, iguanas, frogs. The gardens at the hotel are an array of colours full of unusual plants and birds. The accomadation was very comfortable, large bed big bathroom. There was a place to sit outside at the end of the day to relax and remember the activities of the day and plan the day ahead. The pool was great when u returned after a day trip. Breakfast was included and it was a great start to the day. Selection of items available, fruit, eggs, pancakes with bacon. All was wonderful
