Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The hotel is located 3min car ride away from the Kawaguchiko station. You can call the hotel in advance to book a van for pick up and drop-off at the station. From there, the service is excellent, their staff members are so considerate and the hotel is top notch comfort. We got their special Japanese shiatsu massage for 30min and it saved us from all the built up pain from walking for two weeks. Their outdoor onsen is so cute, and public baths are just the right temperature. They also have a foot spa with a view on Mount Fuji! Oh and they have SO MUCH FLOOR SPACE!! We had the most space at Konansou than any other hotel we've stayed at. The amenities provided are plentiful and of good quality. The kaiseki had a lot of food varieties and it was hands-down the best kaiseki we tried. They make the bed for you and their blankets are soooo soft and fuwa fuwa!! It was a great experience and worth every penny.

Due to heavy rain we decided to quit day trip, and the hotel was able to pick up earlier and did extra early check-in for us, which was super nice. All the staff including front desk,driver and restaurant were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The Japanese-style room offered a complete authentic Japanese experience. The thermal bath on the top floor was great with a clear view of mount Fuji. We ended up going several times since it was just too relaxing! The dinner and breakfast were all beyond exceptional Japanese style delicious food with great variety. I can only recommend it!!! Will for sure come back!!!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. The whole onsen experience was amazing. From the reception to being introduced to the room. We had yukata's (traditional home garments). Our private onsen was great. The room was beautiful, The futon bed super comfy. The food was OMG.... literally Michelin star (and I've bee at Michelin star restaurants). Staff was extremely helpful and assisted us booking travel to any place around. The location was great to just take a stroll and discover the Kawaguchi lake.

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The staff was very friendly and the food was exeptionally good. The appartement i stayed in had a nice little terace with good view of mount Fuji and a hot tub. The design of the appartment is well thought through and everything was super clean. Bicycles were available to explore the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

He explained to us about the place and then served us tea and cookies in the room. A traditional Japanese hospitality experience exactly as we wanted. Excellent location near 2 restaurants that we really enjoyed.

37 km from Lake Shojiko, Temple Lodging Shukubo Kakurinbo is a recently renovated property situated in Minobu and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Everything! The best accommodation experience of my life. The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly, making sure you have a fantastic stay. The food is super tasty and an amazing experience. The lodges out back were comfy, cozy and comfortable. The private bathroom (you could book a slot for on day itself) was amazing too. There is a beautiful garden you look out on from the dinner room. All in all just a fantastic experience. Thanks to the entire staff, so much appreciated!!

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Hotel owner was incredibly friendly, the onsen was a lovely way to relax at the end of long days, and the view of Mt. Fuji is absolutely stupendous.

The hot spring, the meals, the staff, the view are all amazing! Can’t complain any thing. My husband and I can’t wait to come back again soon

We stayed in a Japanese-style room and it was more than amazing experience. We arrived before check in and could store the luggage in the hotel until getting in. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay. Especially that we even could use the hotel onsen (amazing as well) although we both have tattoos (nevertheless we tried to get in once it was empty). The stuff is super friendly and very helpful in all aspects. Highly recommending!
