This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Oita Bank Dome and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. The rooms were spacious and very traditional, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was close to for example Hyotan Onsen and the Jigoku sights as well as Kannawa bus station for easy access to a quick trip to Myoban as well. Every morning we got boiled onsen eggs outside our door and there were filter coffee bags and hot water in the kitchen. Miho went out of her way to help us out at every turn!

Assi in Yufu provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. The property features garden and inner courtyard views, and is 48 km from Oita Bank Dome. Assi sets the bar for guesthouse in my book. Not only is Assi comfortable, they made my experience in Yufuin more comfortable enjoyable. The place is convenient, well decorated, homey, got all the necessities prepared, comes with Onsen bath, and there’s a cute cat waiting for you to come back.

Boasting mountain views, Ikkoten provides accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge, around 50 km from Oita Bank Dome. The atmosphere of this Ryoken was amazing. The staff, food, and private bath were 10/10. My wife and I are vegetarians, so food was abit difficult to coordinate. At the end, we only had breakfast(vegetarian) and had to skip dinner. In spit of that though we will most definitely visit again.

Sanso Tensui features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 41 km of Kinrinko Lake. This was an actual 10/10 stay. The hotspring baths are amazing, the rooms are beautiful, the staff goes above and beyond and the food is quite the experience. If you come here i would also recommend checking out the bar. The bartender is very nice and made us some amazing cocktails. I can recommend his "rose petal mojito".

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. The location is excellent if you plan to visit all the Hells of Beppu, everything is very close to the Ryokan. The place itself is pretty good and the Onsen has an amazing view of Beppu, you have to go during the night. I stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, so it is a given that the room was amazing, having a private onsen, both inside and outside, was amazing. The dinner course was wonderful, best sake I had during my trip.
