During our 16-day holiday in Japan, my husband & I, together with another couple, stayed in 7 ryokans/hotels & Iseya is the BEST! The hotel is new & clean & the facilities are so good! We opted for dinner & breakfast in the hotel & we were so happy & satisfied with the quality & freshness of the food & service level of the attending staff who went beyond their call of duty to make us comfortable! Special mention goes to a male service staff (I think he is the supervisor; forgot his name but was Mayama or something) who served us dinner on 15 Nov. We wanted to order a bottle of red wine & sake to go with our dinner & asked for his recommendation. The sake he recommended was so good, we decided to buy 2 extra bottles to bring home! When this same male service staff heard from us that we had to rush off to catch the ferry to Kumamoto the next morning & breakfast only starts at 7.30am, he left word for our breakfast to be ready earlier. We were pleasantly surprised & so grateful that a new batch of service staff were waiting for us at the dining room when we went down to checkout at 7.20am on 16 Nov. Really fantastic service! Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei is located in the Nagasaki Area, a 10-minute drive from Nagasaki Peace Park. Featuring views of the beautiful Nagasaki, it offers a public bath and free parking. A visit to Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei is like a step back to gentle and easy days. Absolutely 1st rate staff made everything about my stay enjoyable and relaxing. It was obvious they prepared well, learned who we were and what we liked. I felt valued, pampered, and relaxed. There is no better location in Nagasaki. What a view!

This hotel has just 14 massive and expansive rooms - frankly more like an apartment on two levels. The setting is peaceful and the staff just ever presently helpful without being intrusive. The Assistant General Manager, Amila, helped enormously with advice and translation as most of the staff speak only Japanese. The public spa was in fact restricted to hotel guests so not really very public. Exceptionally well set up. Dinner in room was great and the Japanese breakfast was super comprehensive - served in my downstairs dining area by my room attendant.

Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan features a 1,650-square-meter Japanese garden, natural hot spring baths, free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar, cafe, souvenir shop and an exclusive lounge for... Spacious table-seating in the dining room, all tables having a view of the garden (really a park-like setting) and a menu that deserves an international rating at the highest levels, and that applies to both dinner (the landscape outside the glass wall is softly illuminated) and breakfast that offers Western coffee selections and the best of Japanese tea. We booked two nights and we were delightfully surprised to find that both the dinner and breakfast menus were varied. The wait staff and chefs paced the meal to our habits, and as English-speaking guests we never were challenged in communications.

"Shared" bathroom but you can lock so pretty much personal. The share bath is only shared by another room so shouldn't be occupied that often.

Boasting public baths and a sky lounge with beautiful views of Nagasaki, Inasayama Kanko Hotel is a 10-minute drive from JR Nagasaki Train Station. Awesome service and attention from staff. Full amenities provided with comfortable room. Close proximity to most locations. Great view of Nagasaki night view from comfort and convenience from hotel rooftop.

Banshoukaku terletak di Tsushima, 7-minit berjalan kaki dari Kaneishi Castle Ruins dan 800m dari Kyu Kaneishi Castle Garden. The location was perfect with many shops in walking distance. The proprietor was very kind. The 3 breakfasts we got were different each day, authentic, and delicious. Room was cleaned everyday while we were out.
