The breakfast was amazing with many unique dishes. The asari clam miso soup was perfect. There were numerous little dishes that were unique in the special assortment that came in a “treasure” box. The grilled fish from the region was also a treat! Oh and the dessert was a special sorbet made with brown sugar from Okinawa. The rice was cooked in a special clay pot and the rice was grown in the area which is Chiba prefecture. Yummy! Our dinner was extra special and I recommend that you choose to sit on the counter. The master sushi chef presented us with various sushi explaining each one. It was so special and the chef was so kind and made sure that we enjoyed his creations. What a special and relaxing place to visit. Oh and the private onsen in your room is amazing. The view looking across Tokyo bay was also memorable. It was cloudy when we were there but on a clear day you can see Mt Fuji from your room. This place a a hidden gem!

Terletak di Tako, 12 km dari Stasiun Bandara Narita Terminal 2, Masugataya Ryokan menawarkan akomodasi dengan taman, parkir pribadi gratis, teras, dan bar. I spent 2 weeks at this wonderful traditional Ryokan, not far from Narita airport. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my short holiday at this cozy little Inn and the quaint town of Tako. Everything I needed was within walking distance, and the transportation options to Narita town and to the airport (by public bus) were super convenient. I promised the family who ran the Ryokan to return to their facility early in the coming Spring and I intend to make this my "base camp" for any future excursions to explore this beautiful Country. I highly recommend this little Inn to anyone who travels to Japan via Narita airport ; weather for business or pleasure. Thank you again very much for their generous hospitality.
