Wonderful zen feel the moment we stepped in. Personalised impeccable service. Rooms were really spacious, luxurious and come w private onsen, private jacuzzi. Besides the outstanding breakfast and dinner (we got room rates with half board), we were also continuously pampered with free drinks, fruits, snacks and food. Located just across a small road and carpark to the Lake Shikotsu Visitor’s Center and main activities hub.

Good breakfast. Very nice personnel. We arrived very late to the hotel due to a delay in our means of transportation. We were bikepacking and it turned out that our rental bikes were not suited for this kind of trip, which resulted in our cycling being much slower and tougher than anticipated. Anyways we arrived late and missed the proper dining times, but the staff were so friendly and managed to create a meal for us upon arrival. We are still very thankful for this.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The onsen facilities were fantastic—clean and relaxing. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The only downside was that the room was a bit small. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.
We got an upgrade and instead of the booked room, we got a whole house. This was simply fantastic, very cozy, clean. The whole complex is impressive. The onsen was great and very relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly, unfortunately only one person could speak English halfway. The distance to the airport was very good.
Similar to other hotels under Dormy Inn, the hotel provides ice sticks as a refreshment after soaking in the onsen. Do note to bring the small towel from the room as there is none provided in the onsen.
Offering of free ramen (half serving) at supper time and yakult in the morning
Dormy Inns are a little pricey but the rooms are always comfortable and the onsen is nice. Love getting the popsicles/yakult after onsen. My husband likes the late night noodles
