A beautiful traditional style Ryokan, so clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff were incredible, especially Miki at the front desk, she did everything to assist us and beyond.
Also Hoshino san, also helped us with additional requests with the shuttle as the township was very busy - we are VERY grateful for your help and friendliness.

Amazing stay, so peaceful and clean. Staff were wonderful and gave us lots of unique experiences (like the sparklers!). They went above and beyond to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Food was delicious and the onsens were gorgeous.

I liked the coffee and tea maker as well as the included dishes to use. I liked the robe.
Having our own hot tub was nice. Breakfast served in our room was luxurious. Included soap and shampoo was luxurious. I loved the upstairs outdoor patio

The location is great. It was close to the Gala ski resort (it's a 10 minute walk to the ski resort. it's much better to take the hotel shuttle). The Kaiseiki dinner was delicious. The view from our tatami room was beautiful. the hot spring bath house was good.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
Amasing place with gentle owners, nice and cute japanese vintage style, bright rooms with yukatas, beautiful onsen space with clear hot water, near the nature with excellent connection with City Center by bus or walking, big 7/11 convenient store near.

Absolutely incredible! We stayed for one night and had a lovely host family who welcomed us with homemade tea and drove us to the local onsen and sushi shop. The guesthouse was very cute and cozy and had a little balcony for us to sit and watch the snow fall! Highly recommend!
Everything!!! From the moment you arrive until you leave, the owner & staff are at hand to greet, assist, etc.
There are only 8 comfortable rooms in this ryokan with in-room onsen and there is also a shared onsen which were very well maintained and clean!
Owner is a certified Sake Master & Wine Sommelier who personally managed our (opted) sake pairing excellently with our superb Michelin ⭐️dinner. Thank you!
We will definitely look forward to future visits to this ryokan!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The staff are experts in hospitality and friendly. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the local station. The Japanese style room is so inviting and comfortable. The dinner was so good I'm speechless. The wine and sake pairings were fantastic. Soaking in your own hot spring after dinner, while taking in the view is divine. If you have the chance to stay in this area, put yourself in their care. You won't regret it.
