All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. The shuttle service from the bus station was a thoughtful touch that made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The staff also provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, which added to our overall experience. The traditional Japanese food served at Asafuji was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you to the entire team at Asafuji for your hospitality. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel and would gladly return in the future! Nestled on Lake Yamanaka, Mt Fuji View and Private Sauna Ryokan Shizuku is located in Yamanakako. This hotel offers hot spring baths, a sauna and a garden. Free WiFi access is available.

The room was extremely nice and relaxing!!! We chose the room with the sauna and private outdoor onsen and it was very large and comfortable! The dinner was absolutely fantastic. It felt like we were at a Michelin Star restaurant with the attentive waitstaff and the 12 course exceptional meal. The bus to Tokyo picks up right in front of the ryokan so that was very convenient!

Rakuyu, hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu features comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!! Spacious room. Beautiful ambiance. Great onsen. We chose to book our the private one. Hotel is also gracious enough have complimentary drinks and small bites throughout the day. They are quite clear that there is no view of mt Fuji from hotel, but it’d really only a 10 min walk to see it in the other side of lake. It’s also next to the tourist cable car and boat ride if you’re keen for more views. Really great value and highly recommend!

Lovely family runs ryokan that provides a homely atmosphere. The futons were soft and comfortable. We were a big family travelling together all of us agreed that the rooms were cosy and spacious with plenty of sunlight flooding in. On top of that was we were able to see the stunning view of the Fuji mountain from our rooms. Love the traditional onsens, not one but two. Great location and the Fuji 5 lakes nearby. We initially lost our way to get there, but thanks to the friendly hosts who went outside to meet us.

Breakfast and dinner was sumptuous. The room was very clean and spacious, we also had a very nice view of Mount Fuji from parts of the room. Private onsen was excellent as well. Everything was provided like a 5-star hotel, from toiletries to drinks, they even had a towel warmer! The bed was more comfortable than some hotels. The apartment had elements of a ryokan yet was modern like a service apartment. We exceptionally love the service of the hosts :)
