I stayed here one night on my final night before leaving Japan after a month of traveling. This was the perfect place to spend that final night. The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a traditional Japanese inn (ryokan) and serves a Kaiseki dinner to you in your room. You sleep on a futon on the tatami floor. There is a nice public bath (onsen/sento) available. The photos on here are accurate. You have a beautiful sea view out your window. It is truly a magical experience. There are deer walking around outside as you eat breakfast. It’s just so serene and peaceful. Everyone should experience something like this on their trip to Japan. Quit reading. Book it!

I am so happy I decided to stay here. Shinko oba-chan was so warm and welcoming, I felt like if I was back home being greeted by the warmth of my family. The meals included with your stay are delicious, so please do make sure to enjoy them. I even had the opportunity to meet Kuro-chan (I love cats, so this felt quite special to me and I hope Kuro liked me too). I'm already planning to come back and stay for more days to fully enjoy the island. Thank you for everything.

We had a one night stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean, spacious, luxurious and comfortable and had a great view of the shrine. We also loved the rooftop public onsen. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
