The hot spring was unwinding and my family enjoyed the location of the hotel since it’s around 10minutes walk to the ski resort. The food was luscious with various local delicacy and other food options. Moreover, the strawberry milk in the vending machine near the public Bath tasted so good after a nice rest in the onsen.

Very nice luxury boutique Ryokan. Very nice design. Great food - Japanese, with a slight modern touch. I don’t understand what other reviewers complained about. Food was really great and they served vegetarian food for my partner. If you get a nice room, view is great.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, same as the General Manager.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
- Clean and modern villa, comfortable beds.
- Two onsens on 1st and 3rd floors with natural hot spring waters and views of snow and trees.
- Breakfast eggs made the staff on the spot are delicious.
- Convenient location near Hirafu.
- Friendly host and staff.
If it wasn’t for the Onsen - it works have been a 3 out of 10..
the futons are old and shite!!
11 days and the room was cleaned 2 times .. Towels - non existent unless you ask -
The managers /staff were really good people - time to spend some $$$ tho ..
The location is great for those wanting to stay out of Hirafu and so close to five onsens!!! The hosts (Danny, Amy and Fun) were super helpful. Danny went over and beyond. Loved the quietness of the area; and having someone to do snow clearing for the driveway. Must have a car, otherwise, you may not find it as enjoyable. Loved the tatami room upstairs. And having a keypad entry was fantastic. Modern home.
The location for skiers was ideal.
The breakfast was interesting and very good.
The public Onsen was a huge bonus. We loved it and used it every day after skiing.
The rooms had an authentic Japanese decor and we loved sleeping on the futon mats.
It is very spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. It has both the tatami area and the normal beds, it is a good experience of traditional Japanese hotel. The onsen was great! Customer service is great, staff can speak English. Free parking is available. Suitable for those that drives instead of taking public transport, as it is far from the restaurants and train stations. Good value for money with the size of the room!
Friendly and attentive staff throughout the hotel and the spacious onsen. Yukata is provided. It is a quiet place with a small souvenir shop and lobby has a small bar (beer, sake and ice cream). And the walk from the hotel to The Nook, Annupuri Ski area is about 7 mins. Lots of fresh snow could be found around the hotel, since the hotel is next to a conservation forest.
location fantastic, on-site onsen & breakfast excellent. Japanese style room a great experience with very comfortable futons. Staff are very friendly & helpful as previously experienced when staying here.
private onsen in our room and the tatami flooring design.
ski in ski out entrance with lockers to keep our snow gears was convenient.
location of the hotel is close to many amenities and restaurants
