Typical Japanese ryokan experience. Staff and employees were really nice and went out of their way to do as much as they could for any request we had.

The Onsen was perfect, the food was good and the staff were all very nice. Had a surprise Drum and dance show in the evening that we weren’t expecting, so that was cool!
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
Very good service and infrastructure! The hotel had a great onsen with sauna etc. Really good! The room was nice and correct for this category! The people were super friendly and helpful! I would really recommend this hotel
Exceptional service throughout from the front counter staff, the staff in the dining room, and the various other departments.
I was not able to get her name, but the very nice lady who served us our dinner provided exceptional service. The ryokan accommodated us even though we were late for our dinner and frazzled from a long day trip. Her service and cheerful disposition calmed our nerves.
We had our personal onsen in our room. It was so calming and relaxing.
This Dormy Inn is more than the basic business hotel. You have the usual clean (for one person in even quite spacious) room, but on top of that there is so much more. You have the rooftop onsen, after which you get an ice cream, and there are free ramen if you feel like a midnight snack.
Very beautiful and clean little ryokan. There were no staff there but all the information about the property was really clear. The bathroom was really nice and there is a big communal space for eating and cooking. Beautiful shrine around the corner and plenty of corner shops. We enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful, friendly, welcoming staff, beautiful gardens and location. Traditional Japanese experience with futon beds, traditional rooms and amazing indoor and outdoor onsen. Traditional Japanese meals served by the lovely staff.
Great location in the old town of morioka. Lovely old house with original features, traditional tatami and futon rooms. Very nice and welcoming owner, good interaction with other travellers. I paid for a room to myself, so I had easy access to toilet and shower.
Central location, 7 minutes walk from the station. really good value for the $$$ - staff was extremely helpful, we had alll the amenities in the room (yukata, toiletries, slippers). There is a washing room and a really nice onsen!
Hotel provides free noodles and ice cream!
