Bingoya, hotel in Kurashiki

Situated within 11 km of Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park and 14 km of Tanematsuyama Park in Kurashiki, Bingoya offers accommodation with seating area. This 2-star ryokan offers room service.

The room was quite clean and nice! As soon as I checked in I just relaxed in the room until it was time for my reservation for the shared bath. The bath was clean and allowed me to relax for the night. The ryokan breakfast was also very tasty. Definitely worth the value. I love how we had options on when the breakfast would be served (7:30, 8:00, or 8:30) There’s a convenience store nearby with a great selection of snacks. This experience was overall amazing after being overstimulated from the crowds in Tokyo and Kyoto. I was able to walk around the area and it was so peaceful with barely anyone around. If you have big suitcases, I would highly recommend renting the coin lockers at the station and just bringing an overnight bag to Bingoya. If I stop by Kurashiki next trip, I would love to book Bingoya again.

It's two blocks away from the historical quarters, and there are plenty of restaurants between the hotel and the station. The room was clean, and the Onsen temperature was perfect.

This location was the less known in our Japanese tour but one of the most special. The team in the Ryokan was very helpful and they organised a very exceptional dinner for us in a restaurant (who didn't have an English card) but this was a wonderful experience. Thank you again!!!

Great location, walking distance of few minutes from train station and close to the historic city centre. We have booked two rooms. Rooms were spotlessly clean and with all amenities one needs. We loved the onsen.

This was our Ryokan experience. It didn’t wow us as much as we thought. Dinner was ok as was breakfast. The service was impeccable though, dinner in room at low table with waitress knocking to enter with food. Slightly uncomfortable at the table, not used to sitting like that and the bed wasn’t the comfiest. Good experience, glad we did it, might research others earlier to book one well in advance if we did another one

This was our cheap night after a Ryokan. It was fantastic value for money. Lacked nothing higher priced ones had - the Onsen was great. Breakfast not to our taste but we are in a different country so don’t expect different, we knew this might well be the case. Fab VFM.

Beautiful traditional ryokan within the historic district. Comfortable room with private garden. Lovely and delicious kaiseki meal served in the room, and traditional Japanese breakfast were special treats. Impeccable service.

Property was conveniently located in the beautiful Bikan Historical Quarter approximately 10:15 minute walk from the Kurashiki train station. I believe it is the oldest ryokan in town. It was not overly luxurious, however, it was quite clean and comfortable. Our room had a private bath and a wonderful backyard garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and kaiseki dinners were so tasty and very authentic Japanese.

Bingoya is a wonderful traditional Ryokan and it was an amazing experience. Beautiful tatami mat rooms, shoji screens, sliding doors, hanging scroll alcoves, peaceful gardens with stone lanterns - perfect! Delicious breakfasts, which look gorgeous too. Lots of details in the buildings- inside and out, so it is lovely to contemplate your surroundings in one of a hundred different spots.
