Big hotel! There are 3 hotels connecting to each other. You can use onsen at all 3 hotels which is very nice. Nice room and good value for money.

The shuttle bus to and from the station was really easy. Multiple onsen to choose from. The reception staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast buffet.
Set 23 km from Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Museum, Fujisan Ryokan is a recently renovated 3-star accommodation in Hanamaki, featuring an open-air bath, a bar and private parking.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
The staff were excellent. The shuttle bus service was very convenient and pleasant to use from/to the train station. The onsen at the top of the hotel is the real charm point of this hotel. It’s so relaxing at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants also surrounding this hotel within walking distance.
We had a one night stay here.
The property was a little rustic but the staff were extremely welcoming.
Loved the breakfast and the onsen over looking the river. Great location if you’re visiting Geto Kogen.
Great place to stay in a remote location. We loved the river view from the onsen! Our hosts were very relaxed and accommodating. The food was incredible. Room was very comfortable and warm. Definitely one of the quieter places to stay just a short drive from Geto Kogen ski resort
We loved the staff and how they love to make you feel welcomed and happy. A more traditional Japanese stay for soft westerners. very convenient to Geto ski fields. Dinner was delicious and top fun. It was great to meet friendly Japanese snowboarders also on holidays. Good Onsen and beautiful location. Thank you.
The area is close to a ski resort. This hotel serves breakfast and dinner. There is a lovely view and a great hot spring. There is a staff member who can communicate English to foreigners.
You get to stay right on the mountain. I took the bus from Kitakami and dropped my bags before a full days skiing. Staff are friendly and english speaking. The dorm bed was roomy and relatively quiet. Meals, onsen and wi-fi all great. Really good value.
The accommodation, food, onsen and and staff were all very good. Great value overall!
The food was delicious ( standard array of small dishes), the onsen is nice, and staff were helpful.
They run a shuttle service to Geto Kogen and back in the morning and afternoon (message them if you're coming from Geto Kogen).
great size room ; pleasant onsen; location on east side of town good if you want the railway but further from ski field; basement covered parking a real bonus in poor weather
