The hotel is a fair distance from the train station, but the hotel does provide morning shuttles to the station and afternoon shuttles to the hotel. You do need to make prior arrangements for the shuttle. The public bath was clean and accessible, while the private toilet in our room was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed a performance from a local dance group.
Tip: Be sure to visit the Visitor Center at the Ichinoseki Station. They provide train and bus timetables to help you plan your visit.

Close to Famous temples in Hiraizumi town. The room is full of Japan style experiance. Good bathroom and breakfast. Quiet in the night. Happy with having lundry in the hotel.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
onsen was lovely, food delicious, staff helpful, comfortable room with views of beautiful gardens and river.
shuttle bus service to train station was very helpful
Location was good, food was nice (mainly Asian variety) and Onsen was OK! (no towels there, bring the towel from the room) room was spacious, but weird design. We stayed in a twin room
Very tranquil location, high quality tatami floors in a traditional Japanese house, free complimentary tea and cozy common area, nice with a warm bath available and the host was very kind. A cute goat on the property. really enjoyed the experience!
The house is a beautiful old Ryokan in the classic manner. Tatamy, beautiful woodwork, in a quiet country location. A convenient train hop from Ichinoseki. In the the owner was helpful and cheerful. The kitchen is very convenient and well set up. We recommend an early morning walk up the country road it’s on.
