- Very good breakfast, as Japanese as it can get.
- Owners were nice enough, keep in mind it is a traditional Japanese-styled inn so some rules need to be followed.
- Very close to Hiroshima JR Station.
- Good value for money, nice green tea and candy when you first arrive at the room.
- Wi-Fi was on 24/7 when I was there, but I had to ask the owners for the password first.
Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel.

The Miyajima Seaside was like going to visit family.
The staff knew your name
They were so helpful and kind, just delightful
The hotel was "old fashioned" - Japanese style.
We left our shoes in the lobby in lockers
We'd done that before
But, It was the only hotel where they made our beds -placing the futons on the tatami mats every evening
And then putting them away during the day
I liked this very Japanese experience -
The room was large and very comfortable, with European-style chairs and a side table, as well as a large table (Japanese style) where we ate dinner
We had huge windows and a gorgeous view of the water.
Breakfast was in a dining hall but we had dinner in our room.
The first night our evening meal was not great - but the meals got better, more interesting and varied
Daily they gave us some terrific locally made cookies
The public baths were fine
Not as elegant as others, but that didn't matter. But they were large and clean and they had everything one needs
We enjoyed everything at Miyajima Seaside Hotel and would highly recommend
Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself.

The staff were amazing! We felt like royalty. The traditional meals were top notch and so fun to experience (they even adjusted food preferences for my son who doesn’t eat fish). Loved that they set up bedding during dinner, it was just simply a wonderful stay! Even my teenage boys loved it. The private onsen is a nice touch, for sure!
Kinsuikan provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.6 miles of Tsutsumigaura Beach and a 3-minute walk of Five Story Pagoda.

Perfect honeymoon spot and likely my favorite hotel experience ever! The value for the room (including dinner and breakfast) was unbelievably excellent! Everything was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. The in-room onsen was to die for!
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
This place is a hidden gem, I always recommend it when someone travels to Hiroshima. The rustic and traditional style of the house is nice and provide a nice environment to enjoy the nature surrounding the area. The house has tatami and you can experience sleeping on a futon.
Kengo-san is an excellent host, I have been there 4-5 times and it's always a nice experience. The property can allow BBQ and camping but ask for details with the owner.
The ryokan is close to the train station.
The room was very spacious, and the futons and pillows were great for sleeping.
The robes for wearing indoors were really nice.
Old fashioned traditional Japanese hotel, with futon beds and onsen, the location is very nice, near the A-bomb dome and just some min walk from the Peace memorial park and bus/tram station (if going to the Hiroshima station, take the bus as it’s much quicker than the tram). Quiet location. The staff was nice.
The hotel is very close to the train station. Staff is friendly and professional. We liked the option to store our luggage before check in and after check out. We loved the onsen facilities. The room was very small, but had everything from kettle to yukata...
We loved this hotel. Our room was large with private lovely onsen style bath, and faced the dome - amazing. Extra futon pads were available, making us very comfortable. The public bath on the top floor was wonderful, as was the breakfast each day. The staff were lovely and the entrance/lobby always smelled of lilies from the flowers. I would come back here again anytime.
The staff were really helpful, kind and friendly. The Onsen was good. The traditional tatami mat and futon experience was much more comfortable than I had expected, and for a family of four the room was perfect size.
The breakfast was unique and delicious.
The room was a traditional Japanese style room and was spacious and beautiful. The futon beds were very comfortable, the robes were nice. It came with free tee, a public onsen and a view of the dome. The staff were extremely helpful, showing us where the best food was and helping me to find vegan restaurants. The location couldn’t have been better. Honestly an amazing stay, would book again if I visit Hiroshima again.
Location is very central, right next to bomb dome, tram stop really close as well. Apartment was really spacious, lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere throughout the hotel, starting right at the lobby. Nice little onsen looking out to the bomb dome. We tried the traditional breakfast and absolutely loved the experience, definitely something to try out.
