Nice little ryokan not far from Hiroshima station. Owner is not English speaking, but Google translate helped. Rooms are small, but for one person it is quite good, especially for that price. Coin laundry is available on the roof.

Run by an elderly couple, this amazing gem is right infront of the ferry terminal. I only stayed one night but would have loved to add an additional one. they owner greeted me with such warmth and kindness, I felt like I had a new Japanese mom. The dinner provided by the chef was the best I had during my two week holiday. Would def. go back again 😍

The location was perfect, access from the main shopping street and the spacious lounge area looks out to sea.
And all the staff were amazing, they were so polite and helpful. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
Food at the hotel was top quality too.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
This place is a hidden gem, I always recommend it when someone travels to Hiroshima. The rustic and traditional style of the house is nice and provide a nice environment to enjoy the nature surrounding the area. The house has tatami and you can experience sleeping on a futon.
Kengo-san is an excellent host, I have been there 4-5 times and it's always a nice experience. The property can allow BBQ and camping but ask for details with the owner.
The ryokan is close to the train station.
The room was very spacious, and the futons and pillows were great for sleeping.
The robes for wearing indoors were really nice.
Old fashioned traditional Japanese hotel, with futon beds and onsen, the location is very nice, near the A-bomb dome and just some min walk from the Peace memorial park and bus/tram station (if going to the Hiroshima station, take the bus as it’s much quicker than the tram). Quiet location. The staff was nice.
The hotel is very close to the train station. Staff is friendly and professional. We liked the option to store our luggage before check in and after check out. We loved the onsen facilities. The room was very small, but had everything from kettle to yukata...
We loved this hotel. Our room was large with private lovely onsen style bath, and faced the dome - amazing. Extra futon pads were available, making us very comfortable. The public bath on the top floor was wonderful, as was the breakfast each day. The staff were lovely and the entrance/lobby always smelled of lilies from the flowers. I would come back here again anytime.
The staff were really helpful, kind and friendly. The Onsen was good. The traditional tatami mat and futon experience was much more comfortable than I had expected, and for a family of four the room was perfect size.
The breakfast was unique and delicious.
The room was a traditional Japanese style room and was spacious and beautiful. The futon beds were very comfortable, the robes were nice. It came with free tee, a public onsen and a view of the dome. The staff were extremely helpful, showing us where the best food was and helping me to find vegan restaurants. The location couldn’t have been better. Honestly an amazing stay, would book again if I visit Hiroshima again.
Location is very central, right next to bomb dome, tram stop really close as well. Apartment was really spacious, lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere throughout the hotel, starting right at the lobby. Nice little onsen looking out to the bomb dome. We tried the traditional breakfast and absolutely loved the experience, definitely something to try out.
