The hotel is magnificently situated just across the gorge from Cuenca (easily reached via nearby footbridge). We very much enjoyed our stay in the Parador - we particularly enjoyed our dinner within the courtyard. The room was cool, spacious and clean. Great bathroom. Easy parking garage beside the parador.

Stunning courtyard location for breakfast. So close to the cathedral, in the heart of the old town. Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

My room had a stone vaulted ceiling and had great views of the surrounding countryside below the castle. The parking in the hotel courtyard was secure and free.

Historical house reconstructed as a set of apartments. It got great atmosphere. Close to the cathedral and to the downtown streets with tourist shops and restaurants. Big rooms and bathrooms. Quality shower gel and shampoo in the shower. The only one person from our group, who smoked he was happy to have a small smoking area in the courtyard where he could have a smoke.

This was a 2 bed balcony room with good facilities, lovely traditional hallway with plants, all neat and tidy.

The breakfast was cooked and laid out on your table in the central courtyard which had a fountain burbling away in the centre. The staff were friendly and checked to make sure you had everything you needed and were very helpful ordering taxis etc.

The room and location were lovely. The hotel has a really historical feel to it. Looking out of the window into the courtyard and watching the birds flitting to and fro was very relaxing.

A rural retreat.Good old fashioned old building with lovely garden fountain etc.Room comfortable. Food excellent traditional Spanish fare. Excellent value and served by happy super efficient staff

A delightful host who manages a beautiful traditional hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Our stay here was a true Spanish experience with courtyard decorated with local and family artefacts. Breakfast was also very Spanish with excellent local olive oils to try with the tostada con tomate as well as fresh orange juice, hams, cheese, as well as homemade cakes and strawberry jam. Worth going to Almagro just to stay here!

Absolutely brilliant video clip for driving directions to the hotel provided by them. Great little roof top patio - just lovely for morning coffee & sunset drinks. Beautiful central atrium with hanging plants. Perfect location for exploring the wonderfully historic city of Toledo.
