We’ve been to the North and South of Pemba and Emerald Bay was our favourite place. The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

Il Pembla Lodge è un resort a basso impatto ambientale, che offre accesso diretto alla spiaggia e bungalow costruiti con barche riciclate e materiali naturali della zona, situati in un'area appartata... I have now been to Misali sunset beach hotel and pemba paradise, for me the eco lodge was the best experience. So authentic!!! The location is perfect for a exploring getaway! Friendly staff. Not crowded at all, at one of our nights we were the only guests at the resort. The beaches are so prestine and beautiful! Snorkeling and turtle aquarium I recommend! Food is excellent, super fresh tuna! The best I have ever tasted!!

Il Pemba Paradise di Makangale offre un ristorante, una piscina all'aperto, un bar e un salone in comune. L’hotel ospita un giardino e una terrazza. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We stayed in the premium rooms. Property has recently gone through a renovation and is quite nice and a good value compared to the other two options in the area. They are really trying to create a nice experience for guests. They had scooters for rent to explore the area. Nice beach to walk during low tide. It’s a nice option in an area that has limited options.

Situato nei pressi del villaggio di Makangale, nel nord dell'isola di Pemba, il Gecko Nature Lodge Home of Swahili Divers the BEST dive center and Famous Gecko Restaurant è un resort a conduzione... We didn't expect to receive such a great welcoming experience from the staff starting from Jennifer, the manager, and from the all team. They are such nice team and treat you as part of their family. The food is so delicious and well finished. Moreover all the dishes written in the menu have always been available. The place is located on the northwest side close to Pemba Paradise, wumawimbi beach and the forrest, sourrend by monkeys and bushbaby! You can enjoy the magic sunset thanks to a nice spot in front of the sea and enjoy the barrier reef through snorkelling and scuba diving! Lovely recommended!
