Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort is surrounded by mountains, historic temples and hill tribe villages. 1. Delicious Thai breakfast with a good variety. 2. Spacious and comfortable rooms. 3. Great pool facility with views on the river. 4. In the middle of nature, so lots of interesting critters roaming outside like lizards, frogs, geckos, butterflies, etc. This may be a negative for some people, but I thought it was nice. 5. Incredibly friendly staff.

We were in doubt when we booked this place but once we arrived, the staffs welcome us warmly. The properties looks still new and clean, the surrounding is also neat and greens. Looks like a family own business, quiet and no one is distracting the guests. The properties is about couple street away from main road so quiet and no car or motorcycle passing by all the time. We had a great quiet and relaxing time there. Enjoyed the green rice field at front.

There were rabbits and ducks and fish and birds galore and it was such a peaceful space to spend sunset and sunrise! The bungalow was comfortable and gave us the perfect jungle feel. I’m in love with this property, and the hosts!!!
