Being a (very) frequent traveller, I put emphasis in comparing newly developed hotel project across the world. The Riva Vista sticks out from among comparable developments. Although the area, where it is located, might not seem the most attractive on the first sight, on the second sight you will realize that given the location the tranquility will outweigh a central location in downtown Chiang Rai. And indeed, everything important is within a reasonably short driving distance, the magnificent Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) even within a 5-6 mins walking distance from the hotel. What absolutely sticks out, is the architectural and design concept of Riva Vista, the amazing riverfront garden and the incredible restaurant. Both for the breakfast choice, as well as for a la carte dining options the restaurant offers real haute cuisine style of experience. Truly amazing! The whole feeling is rounded up by the beuatifully designed, comfortable and spacious rooms, with panoramic bathrooms. Basement rooms even have direct access to the pool from the room. The efforts and friendliness of the hotel staff are also a clear assett, but given the higher range (star-categorization) of the property, this is almost self-evident at stylish hotels in Thailand. Being a great fan of such contemporary boutique hotel concepts I wish to express my highest appreciation to the owners, authors and the management of this outstanding hotel concept.

Baan Sakuna Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Chiang Khong. Mai is the BEST host!!! She sorted out our slow bait river crossing via text (in one day!) and had coffee waiting for us before we left in the morning! Thank you so much Mai!!! Amazing resort over looking the Mekong. Easy tuk tuk ride from bus drop off in town. walkable to huge grocery store and 7-11. Restaurant onsite serves good food in beautiful indoor/outdoor dining area. wish we were able to stay longer.

Located within a 5-minute ride from Chiang Rai Clock Tower, Saikaew Resort features cosy cottages with modern facilities with a laundry service. Free WiFi is provided throughout the resort. Very beautiful, relaxing and peaceful resort. The room was very clean and full of comforts (smart tv, wifi, air conditioning). The position is very comfortable, almost 7-8 minuts from the center of the city. The staff was absolutely amazing and professional, they give me a lot of information to visit the city and also organized the transport with a local tuk tuk driver that showed me all the city for a very good price. The food was also very tasty with a stunning view. If u want to come in Chang Rai, COME HERE!! 💯💯😍

We were in doubt when we booked this place but once we arrived, the staffs welcome us warmly. The properties looks still new and clean, the surrounding is also neat and greens. Looks like a family own business, quiet and no one is distracting the guests. The properties is about couple street away from main road so quiet and no car or motorcycle passing by all the time. We had a great quiet and relaxing time there. Enjoyed the green rice field at front.

The farm is very spectacular, with a pond made by the owner, and some animals hanging around. We spent a week there, and us and the kids were really happy with the surrounding. But regardless of the place itself, the reason to come is the lovely Nee and Oi who run the place. They are very generous, gentle and loving people. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet them, cook together and share traditions, discuss Budhism, feed the fish, laugh... Thank you!
