Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. The room looked amazing and the bed was huge and comfortable. The cleaning ladies did and excellent job. Highly appreciated that there were conditioner and not only shampoo in the shower. The pool area is magical, all the floors give you a great view of the ocean. There’s a huge selection for breakfast and also many different restaurants/bars for dinner.

Terrabona Nature & Vineyards er staðsett í Boaventura, 21 km frá hefðbundnu húsum Santana. Boðið er upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og veitingastað. The "hotel" (only 4 small villas) is in a beautiful location with outstanding views. The small villa's are very private and far from each other and beautiful as well. The bed was super comfortable, shower facilities great. Very nicely decorated unit (living room etc). Very nice pool and sauna (it was too cold for us to go in the pool). We had 2 dinners on site with the hosts that were very nice and great to meet the other guests and the hosts. The location is on the north east of the island which is the wilder part of the island. Breakfast is self-catered: you get fresh bread in the morning and have fresh eggs, cheeses, salami etc in the fridge and make your own breakfast. There is a very nice real coffee machine and ground coffee provided as well.

Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway er staðsett í Ponta do Sol, 1,2 km frá Madalena do Mar-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. Lovely stay. Stayed here for my honeymoon and we both loved it. The rooms and the property were just as shown in the images on line and the staff treated us with care and intent. The property is also located along a lovely walking trail so it was excellent.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. Everything was perfect. The food very tasty and varied, the location very good, the staff very nice. Also, it was very clean and confy, a place close to a wonderfull beach. The view gorgeous.
