Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. We had a corner room with own outside jakuzzi, amazing sea view and large inside bath tub - it was really a well designed and thought-through space that fulfilled all our needs

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Terrabona is a small family run hotel with only 4 villas so it felt very quite and exclusive there. It’s situated in a picturesque area in the mountains, there are several hiking routes there and a river down the mountains. A pool and a sauna have an amazing view on the valley. Villas are modern and spacious. They offer 4 types of pillows but we found those which were already in a room super comfortable. WiFi signal was reasonably ok. Breakfast was really good. They leave everything for the breakfast in advance in a fridge and we liked that we could have it any time we wanted. There was always a variety of fresh bread, fruits, cheeses and ham, homemade jam, free range chicken eggs, ect. Everything made in Terrabona is with a good quality and care for nature. We loved little plants garden and a winery. Small parking right next to the hotel was always occupied but there were always free spots in another parking 50 meters from the hotel. There are no restaurants in a walking distance but we enjoyed a dinner experience organised by Marco and Maria. It’s a wonderful stay if you want to enjoy nature and peace and discover one of the most beautiful places of North Madeira - Seixal beach, Sao Vicente and natural pools in Porto Moniz.

Located in Ponta do Sol, 1.2 km from Madalena do Mar Beach, Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I needed to stay in Ponta do Sol and this hotel turned out to be a gem because my room not only had a gorgeous view and balcony, but it was also spacious and private. Plus, the breakfast was excellent and generous, and for dinner the nearby 90 degrees Bar & Grill was perfect. Highly recommend!

The luxurious Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort is set amidst tropical gardens in the Bay of Funchal, featuring 2 heated lagoon-style pools and private ocean access. Superb location with direct access to the sea - (however there is no beach but rock-set steps to the water ). There is a huge sun-lounging terrace with plenty of sun-beds . Hotel was originally a time share apartment building which has been converted to a hotel . The suite rooms have a separate kitchen and there is room service available so private dining on the terrace is a very pleasant availability .

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a balcony, Luxury villa with private heated pool, garden and views of the sea and mountains. Is situated in Arco da Calheta. The Villa exceeded our expectations. Much bigger, and luxurious than what the photos on Booking showed. The bedrooms were very large, well-appointed and had the very best of mattresses and linen. A pure pleasure which led to the best sleeps, night after night. The kitchen was excellently equipped and there is a lovely pool and outside area with amazing views over the hills and sea. Communication with Lily, the owner, was perfect.

The apartment is very stylish, decorated with good taste and comfortable beds. The view from the windows is delightful day and night. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony or right next door in the Ritz café.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. We liked this hotel very much. We liked the wide variety of food, good parking option, enjoyable evening shows, nice staff. Supermaket and sandy beach nearby.

En general TOT, crec que és un hotel molt maco, amb unes vistes des de les habitacions excelente,habitacions grans, bany molt ampi, el tracte del perosnal és fantàstic, les instalciones també, amb 2 pisicines exteriors d'aigua salada i una amb acces al mar, dos piscines interiors,... i un esmortzar genial. Si vas amb cotxe de lloguer, hi ha aparcament, que s'omple amb falicitat , si he de dir alguna cosa menys possitiva de l'hotel és aquesta. Malgrat que l'hotel te moltes habitacion, no ho sembla ni tants sols a l'hora d'esmortar. als voltant hi han restaurants i fins i tot botigues de souvenirs. Segur que torno i torno a aquest hotel

Our stay at your hotel was excellent. Good music in the evening, great location. A nice quiet holiday, not for noisy young people

The 5-star Vidamar Resorts Madeira is situated on Madeira's southern coast, just few minutes' walk from central Funchal. It features 3 salt-water infinity pools for adults and one for children. so hospitable. the halfboard option really saved me and my partner time arguing over where to eat. they have their own buffet inside the hotel aswell as an Italian and madeiran restaurant close to the hotel incase you don’t like what food is on the buffet that day. there are four pools outdoors so the pool isn’t so full it’s uncomfortable like a lot of other hotels. great location.
