We still look forward to return, hopefully together with our families. We loved the view, atmosphere and the whole place!

Loved the rustic charm of the buildings and landscape under the canopy of large shade trees. The large balconies, comfortable beds and well layed out bathrooms. The coral and fish life out towards and beyond the end of the wharf. Really peaceful place to stay.

There is TV fridge and kettle in the room. Toilet is a bit rundown but it is clean. Staff is very friendly. They provide life jacket for snorkeling. great Seaview.

El Hof Gorei Resort se encuentra en la isla de Samal y cuenta con bungalows tradicionales. We arrived a day earlier than anticipated, they were generous enough to get us settled in a different room and give us 5 star treatment. The owner came to our room to personally inspect it. We stayed here because we couldn't find any availability at pearl-farm, which I had stayed at a few years back and loved. Now I don't understand why anyone would stay at pearl-farm over this place. This is a better resort, hands-down. The food is much better, the service is much better, and it is far prettier than pearl-farm. If it hadn't been for me being sick and desparately needing wifi from bed, the stay would have been perfect.
