It was really nice. We had a familly lakeview apartment with 2 bedrooms and living area. We had a fireplace, washing machine.. Breakfast was really good. Inthe reception there was a lovely Xmas tree. The lakeview was great!

The Mercure Queenstown Resort is located on a vantage point overlooking the Remarkables Mountains and Lake Wakatipu. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, spa pools, a gym and a sauna. This hotel is the ideal place to stay not only for the fabulous view which you can enjoy from all the restaurants, terrace and certain rooms but also for its service, the friendliness of the staff and the restaurant. The room was big and clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice choice. Geographically it is slightly away from the centre (=20 minutes walk steep downhill and then beautiful promenade along the lake, there would be buses too) which is nice if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the town.
