Great place close to Bardia. Wonderful staff and guides. They will arrange any kind of activity-jeep trip or walk, full day or half day. They organize it to your wishes, depending on what you hope to see. We even had a feast at a village house, with home made rice wine (fire water). Sitting around a fire, we had a great evening. I give this resort the highest recommendation possible.

Location is very nice. Just on the side of national Park. Hotel is close to river. Beautiful garden with pond in middle of hotel which is very cool. Gardens are full of flower and fruits tree. Very kind owner hira and shankar. Staffs are always happy to help you in need. I went to jungle with guide Rishi he was very knowledgeable guide he explained very small small things that we saw in jungle. I highly recommend to visit this place. I will surely vist again. Bardia Kingfisher Resort is located in Dhakela, 500 metres from Bardia National Park. Free WiFi access is available in this resort. The accommodation will provide you with a patio and a seating area. Great local family owned guest house with very friendly staff. Much of the food is locally sourced, including the rice that is grown in the family's own rice paddy. Guides were very good; determined to find a tiger for me, which they did even though they are hard to see at this time of year.

Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.
