Set in Alta, 17 km from The Rock art of Alta, Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I recently stayed at this hotel on the Alta River with my family and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff like Nicholas, Margret, Tonje, Josh, and Maya who went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with stunning views of the river and surrounding wilderness. The facilities at the hotel are top-notch, with everything we needed to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor activities. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, which were perfect for soothing sore muscles. The food at the hotel was also excellent, with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the effort put into accommodating our dietary needs and preferences. What really set this hotel apart, however, was the attention paid to families with children. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with our kids, and went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. They provided extra snow suits and boots for the kids, which was very helpful, and even had a special menu with kid-friendly options. Our children loved playing in the snow and exploring the nearby forest, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were safe and happy. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel on the Alta River for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Norway. The staff, facilities, and location are all top-notch, and the attention paid to families with children really made our stay special. We hope to return someday and experience it all again!

Located in Fjordgård, Segla bed & go features a bar. The resort provides both free WiFi and free private parking. We loved the apartment, but found the second bedroom too dark. Camilla was a great help and very pleasant

Torsken Brygge in Torsken has a shared lounge and a bar. Free private parking is available and the resort also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Staff were very accommodating and allowed late check in after calling to explain expected late arrival. The living area was lovely and breakfast very nice.

Aurora Borealis Observatory is situated in Senja Island, 10 minutes from the city of Finnsnes and features ski-to-door access. Staff went above and beyond for the customer. Apartment was very clean and facilities were better then expected.

Malangen Resort offers rooms with fjord views and self-catering cottages and apartments with a seating area and a bathroom with shower. Wonderful resort with a wonderful view of fjord. Cosy apartment. Sauna was great.
