Permai Rainforest Resort is an eco-friendly resort at the foot of Mount Santubong, a 5-minute walk from Sarawak Cultural Village. The resort offers a café and barbecue facilities. The perfect location to relax in (and with) nature, as it’s basically right outside your window! I saw proboscis monkeys from my balcony and many other animals which was so great. There’s also many great hiking routes free of charge from the resort where you’ll be able to see the most beautiful nature and beach ever. The whole resort is just awesome, I really loved the place and all it has to offer. Great staff which is very helpful as well. The treehouses are wonderful to stay in and so luxurious even in the middle of a jungle. Not even a single mosquito in my room at night and I had the best sleep in ages.
