Located within Emboodhoo Lagoon, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives The hotel features a large ocean view swimming pool with a slide and underwater speakers, Rock Spa, Body Rock gym, Rock Shop, Hard Rock Café,... There were various activities catered to the young and old. We attended the yoga class some mornings and attended the aerial classes (held by Lauren and BJJ for beginners (held by Miguel) some afternoons. Both instructors were really good and we, and all the other students, had fun trying the hoop and trapeze moves. I didn’t think I can do them, but I did. Just shows that they planned their lessons well for beginners like myself. All the people from the reception to the buggy drivers and all the restaurants were all smiles and welcoming. The food was also good and the main and some side dishes at the buffet breakfast change daily. There were some days that are best suited to my palate and some that were not, but the egg station is always a back up in case I don’t like the main dishes so much. For evening activities, we followed where Deviate and abracadabra performed on most nights and were quite entertained. If we stayed longer, I would have done another laxy stroll at the bridge goin to Crossroads to see fish, sting rays and a nurse shark (oh, and the heron by the pavilion). Velassaru Maldives offers luxurious beachfront and over-water accommodation with uninterrupted ocean views. Amazing five-star resort. Loved absolutely everything about it. Everything was top notch. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and the portions at the restaurants were huge. We stayed at a beach villa and had a practically private beach all to ourselves right in front of the bungalow. The villas with the pools seemed a bit further away from the beach than ours was, so definitely take into consideration if you want to get as much fun in the water as possible. Take advantage of the spa, the massages are amazing. Also, definitely reserve the complimentary activities (like boat cruise, yoga, snorkeling) in advance, ideally even before you arrive (the hotel sends you a list of daily activities beforehand), as the spots fill out quickly. If you're brave enough to go snorkeling with the sharks - definitely recommend!

In addition, the location is ideal, being close to the airport.

Facing the beachfront, Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa offers 4-star accommodation in Maafushi and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. This was a really great holiday in this hotel, my family and me had really big room with sea view, cleaning of room were everyday, new tovels, water in bottles... the stuff is really nice and helpful. We took few trips around maafushi and everything is very well organized. Special thanks to guys at the bar and all on reception. I would visit this hotel for sure
