El The Barefoot Eco Hotel está situado a orillas de Hanimaadhoo y ofrece un alojamiento tranquilo y cómodo con conexión WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. Well, I expected this place to be clean, remote from Male, meaning more beautiful and I am happy I made a choice and came here. Absolutely beautiful. I booked full board and I don’t regret it. I had a good appetite during my holiday. The hotel times shifts to +1 hr, so prepare to not miss any of the meals. Breakfast 7:45-10:15, lunch 13:00-14:30 and dinner 20:00-21:30. There is plenty to choose from, vegetables and fruits, every dinner and lunch variety of fish and meat. For breakfast you can ask eggs and pancakes to be prepared. I really liked that it was not many people in hotel and it felt very cool. Sunbeds on the beach, take any. I had a double room with patio and I just had the one closest to the beach. Perfect! Bins for plastic and paper everywhere on the territory. I saw someone complained of going to the bar and get a drink, I thought that would be a problem but in reality it wasn’t. We could give the order and drinks were delivered. Anyways walking 2-3 minutes to the bar and to enjoy and view is never an issue. The area is in the forest so there are lots of trees and palm trees. I felt similar like in Bali in Ubud. Water is provided in the room, tea and coffee sachets. There are plenty of excursions provided by diving center, choose and go. I liked that hotel provided 2 times a week a complimentary snorkelling trip. Yoga in the morning is also free and you just need to make an effort to wake up) I didn’t really use a swimming pool as I was more attracted to the ocean but pool is nice. There is no alcohol as it is not allowed but there is a little boat with boat bar and you can go there in the evening at 18:00 and 21:30 and enjoy a drink or two or three. I also used laundry facilities.
