Nilaveli Beach Resort is set on the bronzed sands of Nilaveli Beach. This tranquil resort welcomes guests with a private beach area, cosy guestrooms and free internet access at all public areas. A lovely small resort tucked away from the rest of the village. The staff were extremely friendly and kept the grounds and property beautiful.

The service of the staff was really good, we had a birthday and the staff especially bharadhi promptly provided us with a cake and made it extra special, he was also very courteous and helped us with food accommodation and travel to the beach.

Perfect sized rooms, lovely bathrooms, great air con and wifi. Little hammocks out the front of your place and a beautiful 1 min walk to the beach. We realised it was way better than staying on the beach for us because was it was so quiet at night, but you’re still practically beachfront. We extended our stay 2 times, to stay at Elena’s and in Trincomalee in general. Elena and all staff were so helpful and accommodating for whatever we needed (tuk tuk, a late night beer, extra bedding and even offered me a yoga mat!) Already dreaming of coming back here! Thanks so much Elena and co!!! Also Hawaii snack bar at the end of the street on the beach is another place we’ll dream about till we die, must eat there everyday :)

From checking in with smiling welcoming staff, to being shown my lovely spacious clean room, to the food. I had a room on the second floor, big and spotlessly clean, a large bed that didn’t creak, and with all the amenities you’d expect - kettle, tea / coffee, refrigerator, safe, a/c, tv, hanging area. A good size bathroom with toiletries and a shower with plenty of hot water. I used the next day laundry service and that was fine also. Breakfast was delicious! I chose Sri Lankan for both mornings if my stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had lunch one day and that was equally as tasty, and not overpriced.

This is was the best hotel ever!!! I can’t recommend it more, if you are looking for a place to stay in Nilaveli you MUST stay here! The hotel itself was beautiful, the grounds were very well maintained, the pool and the loungers and the private beach were all amazing! The room was incredibly clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredible!! they really do everything that they can to make your stay the best. I celebrated my birthday here and the staff went above and beyond to make my day extra special. The food was also amazing! All home cooked meals very flavourful and so good! Overall, the stay here was exceptional and I wish I could have stayed for longer!!

Located near Trincomalee in Salli-Sampaltivu, 108 Palms Beach Resort offers accommodation on the private beach. The owner greeted us and was very friendly. Also the staff was really great. The owner also gave us tips for the rest of our trip. The restaurant has nice food. The beach is cleaned by the staff every day.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. Mayuran and Roshan were great and friendly staff. Helped us alot to feel comfortable at the resort. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone families and couples. 10/10
