We arrived at Whisky point not knowing what to expect. All I can say is that it exceeded our expectations in every way! We ended up extending our stay and became great friends with the owner, Nicola and his entire team! The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional! It could be the best Pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The fact that you are living on the beachfront, which is super clean with no crowds and a few minutes walk away from Pottuvil Point where you can catch good surf when the swell is good or swim off the main rock when its flat, makes this place the perfect location, away from the madness of Arugam Bay which can get super crowded. You can catch a tuk tuk to A Bay and be there in 10 minutes if you want to go into the A Bay. I am going to miss this place and my friends and will be back for sure! 10/10 all the way!

The staff was very friendly, and they were helping us all the time. Especially, the owner. He made sure to contact us personally and guide. There are 5 total rooms, and they are separated (like little cabanas). Room was very clean and sanitized before our arrival. Private parking is enough for around 4 cars at a time. There is an electrical fence around the place for extra security. You won't find this kind of great place near Arugam Bay. A highly recommended place.

This hostel is wonderful. Very peaceful, you can hear the waves from your bed and go and see the sunrise every morning. Great location. The food is also very good, I loved my free breakfast hehe, the fruit pancakes are great!! I met amazing people there. Booked 1 night, ended up staying 10 days haha :) The staff is lovely, they took great care of us. I am very grateful for their support and help. They are very kind people. I really recommend. Rooms are large, the pool is incredible and the staff super atentive. The hotel manager is a great profissional and helped us with every request. The pancakes at breakfast are a must-try!! Good location, close to the main street and beaches.
