Bella Vista Spa and Marina ONOMICHI ligger i Onomichi, bara 40 minuters bilresa från JR-stationen Fukuyama Shinkansen. Breakfast was good. Service generally good. However most reception staff could not communicate in English whereas restaurant staff did better. Kudos to the part-time barista Cristina who not only could communicate well but conducted herself so well as a concierge in checking and making several arrangements for a side trip for us that the regular staff at reception were unable to do. She was personable, resourceful and went out of her way to support us. We expected this level of service from the hotel’s regular staff which was lacking.

Uminos Spa & Resort ligger precis stranden i Etajima, 18 km från Naval History Museum och 20 km från Etajima Park.

Forest Hills Garden ligger i Mihara och erbjuder gratis WiFi. Alla rum har ett kök och ett eget badrum. Boendet har en restaurang. Rummen har vattenkokare. Very cosy, spacious, comfortable and scenic view of the pond from the patio. Well decorated with thoughtful home items for comfort like heaters everywhere, blanket for outdoor, thick bathrobe. Good size bath tub to soak and rocking chairs at the patio.
