Beautiful resort in the middle of western highlands. Had a great gourmet dinner and breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the hot pools before dinner. Staff was very courteous. Waterfalls nearby.

If you're looking to visit this area, then this hotel is a great choice. It's a beautiful modern hotel with perfectly presented rooms, easy parking and helpful staff. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and thought the hotel benefitted from the wider resort and it's lower priced cafe and store.

It's on a highway with nothing much around, so location is not extra ordinary. Limited options around for dining etc, so most meals were in the hotel which has a smallish menu. Food quality was good enough, but not extraordinary. The nearby Lava Resort had a wonderful restaurant. The TV was good to pass time on a very windy and rainy day where we couldn't really explore much.

luxury warm pool and sauna, breakfast was delicious

We really liked the camping pod, it's so minimalistic, rustic, and cozy at the same time! And of course, the hot pools were so amazing and relaxing after a long day of exploring. We stayed for two nights and don't regret it. It was a really nice experience and everyone at the reception was so polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to adventurous couples like us who like staying in special accommodations and don't need any luxury.

We liked the farm atmosphere, the ability to see the animals and the farm views and smells, while having quite a non farm experience in the dining are and the room, it is a combination of a farm and a luxury apartments/hotel that works well and is nice to experience.

The view was simply amazing with the direct view of Kirkujufell right from your sofa. The kitchen was clean and ample for 4 families if you wanted to go at it. Parking was ample and a tad bit off the resort viewpoints.

lovely setting, it felt like luxury

Liked the guy at the reception. Very friendly man. The place is a bit old and the room was tiny with just 4 square meters. It was advertised as such so I am not complaining. The price was reasonable by Icelandic standards. It was clean and I was able to sleep well. The place also had free breakfast which was plentiful and good. All in all I would definitely go there again. Do not expect too much luxury though.

incredible pool in the greenhouse, the rooms are quite old and simple, but clean. Great people. It's still a farm, so don't except luxury, but definitely worth visiting for the pool and hot springs. The vibe is great. We didn't eat anything, but the coffee was nice. We were visiting the place out of the high season, so it was really calm and quiet. but It might be crowded in the summer.
