This place exceeded my expectations. It had almost everything that you would need for your stay. Pool was just amazing. Special call out to the amazing staff whom we came across here. They made sure our stay was comfortable. Food was just amazing. I would definitely stay here in future.

Reception and restaurant kept in contact with us while we were traveling. Restaurant manager Ratheesh is excellent leader cos his team was very efficient. We arrived at 11pm but they kept in touch with us during our journey (long drive) to check on our meal requirements. Reception was tops in welcoming us at that part of the night and in a terrible storm. We were very traumatized by the long drive and monsoon like weather but the warmth with which we were welcomed was awesome to overcome the trauma

All the pictures that you see here are from this hidden gem that I discovered in Alleppey. Staff were too generous, kind and you feel that they are family. Facility is so clean. Rooms are just perfect. Food is prepared well by Babu the owner “breakfast village” also location is just perfect beachfront and you can enjoy the colorful sky on 🌅 sunset. Its my always fav. We've stayed in Rockholm for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it The restaurant is so good that we didn't bother to go and eat somewhere else most of the time when we were at the hotel. Besides the regular menu they can also do something on request and all of that is very reasonably priced (compared to most of the European prices for the same quality and service). The breakfast is mainly vegetarian but variety is wide enough and some options are changed every day, we tried something new in different combinations every day. Non-veg breakfast options are always present but limited and some of the breakfast dishes could be spicy The receptionists are very helpful and helped us with the currency exchange, helped to book a scooter (since it was a low season it was hard to find anything working), arranged a reliable transfer to the airport at a good price (compared to an external transfer booking services), they can also help with everything related to tours and other activities We've really enjoyed the pool, even though it's not so big and rather shallow it appeared to be good enough for us. The water, pool itself and surrounding area were very clean. We didn't go to the beach but during the daytime it could be really considered as a private beach as there's always nobody even though the beach itself looks pleasant and clean, at the evening there will be cloud of locals watching the sunset and local kids playing football The room itself was clean, cozy and with enough lighting options. WiFi has proven to be stable and rather fast. And of course the view from the balcony is breathtaking and it's main feature of the hotel for sure The location is also nice, in a very quiet and somewhat secluded area but in just 5 minutes walk to the main beach with all other hotels and restaurants All the staff is very helpful and sincerely friendly

After climbing a most impressive pass comprising of no more than 9 hairpin bends we popped out at the top to find the town of Wayanad. A jeep ride later traversing tea plantations we entered the heavily forested wonderland, which is the setting of the Wayanad Wild Resort. This CGH property is very well appointed, suitably understated to blend into the surroundings and clearly well managed by David Raju and his team. David is a leading naturalist in India having recently compiled two field guides on southern and central India with one on western India about to go to press. We saw things here that we had not seen elsewhere, particularly on the night tours, including 8 frog and 5 snake species! The rooms were very comfortable and the food was delicious. Our one night stay here, particularly the walks with Umesh, were memorable.
