Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Ancroft Country Park is situated in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, 11 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema and 20 km from Lindisfarne Castle. The new owners of this park are very experienced in this business and I do think it shows. The park is currently undergoing some renovation, but this caused no disruption for us. Lovely holiday caravan/lodge in a very beautiful, peaceful area. The lodge itself was well maintained, spacious, extremely comfortable, and well equipped, including a good WiFi signal and smart TV. Picturesque views over cornfields with a few cows for bonus entertainment. I've noted some reviewers had marked down the location which I guess is because Ancroft itself doesn't have a shop or pub, but as Berwick is less than ten minutes' drive away that really isn't a problem. For us, it was actually a bonus, as it meant the area was particularly tranquil at night.

Haggerston Lola the Lodge and Betty býður upp á útsýni yfir stöðuvatnið. Van býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 12 km fjarlægð frá Lindisfarne-kastala. Lola was an amazing lodge for a family stay. Very spacious and huge amounts of storage which is always a plus when travelling with little ones! Each room had a TV and there were lots of DVDs for the kids to watch which they loved. We managed to connect to Netflix in the living room with ease and whilst we were warned the Wi-Fi may not be the best, we had no problems at all. The whole place was well equipped with everything you may need and lots of extra touches. The outside area was nice and had a good view. The walk to the main site was lovely along the river and only about 5 minutes up the road. Nathalie the host was lovely and very informative. Phoned us on arrival to make sure all was ok and shared top tips which was very kind. You can tell a lot of care and love has went into setting up this lodge and it made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would recommend!!

Lodge was excellent, just as all of the reviews mentioned. in an excellent position. I needed a chilled couple of days & this ticked all of the boxes. I ended up staying an extra night.
