Heart of Glencoe Holidays biedt gratis WiFi en ligt op 1,5 mijl (2,5 km) buiten het dorp Glencoe, richting de beroemde vallei. Everything is perfect. I will back again.

Macdonald Lochanhully Woodland Club offers pet-friendly accommodation in Carrbridge. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms have a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Spacious and quiet in a beautiful location
Aviemore
De Macdonald Spey Valley Golf & Country Club ligt in Aviemore. Het resort heeft een kampioensgolfbaan en diverse recreatieve faciliteiten, zoals een zwembad, een hot tub en een sauna. The town is small, peaceful and quiet but a tourist attraction (mainly holiday goers) so it had all the services and facilities we needed. It’s also in the middle of the highlands, with many, many activities, attractions and beautiful nature all around. It’s also a few hours drive from other Highland locations, such as Loch Ness, Fort William, Inverness, Glencoe, Isle of Skye (which we didn’t visit because it’s 3 hours away and I had little kids). We stayed for a week in Aviemore but we could have stayed more since everyday was filled with activity and interesting things to do.

Set in Cairngorms National Park, Macdonald Woodland Lodges at Macdonald Aviemore Resort offers views of the forest, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and free WiFi. De huisjes waren ruim en schoon (wel gekraak van de vloeren maar dit had ook zijn charme).

De ligging. We waren op doorreis en qua locatie was het resort perfect. Het was ook fijn dat er genoeg handdoeken lagen en we met het gezin een plek samen hadden. Lakens waren schoon en netjes opgemaakt. Doordeweeks is er normaliter een zwembad. Er is een kleine speeltuin voor max 4 a 5 jaar, maar er is natuur genoeg om ze te laten spelen. Op korte afstand is er genoeg te doen.
De locatie in het hart van Cairngorms Natinal Park is prima. Het hotel maakt deel uit van een heel resort met allerlei faciliteiten. Het eten is op zich prima maar ook niet meer dan dat. Het plaatsje Aviemore is wat touristisch maar er is daardoor ook redelijk wat te doen.
Fantastisch verblijf. Gastvrijheid was enorm. De eigenaresse was klassiek Engels. Heeft kwaliteit en is open. Bedden waren zeer goed. Ontbijt is aan te bevelen. Geweldige overnachting gehad. Plek was ook erg goed beloopbaar van het centrum. Fietsen in een stalling gezet. Parkeerplekken achter de b&b.
Super mooi, nieuw hotel. Met zelfs binnen motor stalling! Top ;)
