Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. This resort is extremely well run and is picturesque lakeside. The property is spread out across many acres and some of the activities are operated from the surrounding properties (reindeer farm and dog sledding) and are walking distance. The resort requires vehicles to get to and is not near the town of Robaniemi. Transportation will need to be arranged. We rented a car and it was easy to get to from the town.

Everything was so nice. The hotel is right in front of a lake and every room as lake view. In our case we had snow and the lake was frozen, but the area and the hotel offers plenty of activities for that weather. We were travelling with our little girl so we couldn't book a Aurora Borealis "hunt" but we were lucky enough to see the Aurora from our room at 10pm! It was so magical. I recommend this hotel and this trip to anyone that wants to disconnect and have amazing days in the nature.

Objekat Aurora Queen Resort Igloos je smešten u gradu Sariselka i u ponudi ima bar. We visited this hotel for our honeymoon, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The hotel, the igloos (rooms) and facilities were stunning, as was the nature around it. The hotel is located in the (very snowy) forest, and the whole experience was magical. First off, the owners, Nina and Pasi are extremely charming, friendly, and warm people. They surprised us with some sparkling wine for our honeymoon when we first entered our igloo. Beyond that, they catered to our every request, and were always asking how we were, whether we were enjoying ourselves, and were interested to get to know us at every opportunity. They are wonderful, and they are a reason alone to visit this hotel. The other staff members of the hotel are also amazing, extremely friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. It is clear that everyone cares about the customers and providing them with a good experience. We want to make a special mention to Henna, who makes anyone happy after a few moments of talking to her, Bjorn, with his contagious enthusiasm about nature, and Anne-Marie, who surprised us by being a fluent Greek speaker! All of these people made our stay special. The hotel itself is quite secluded, but it offers various activities that are fun and interesting, like snowmobiling, husky riding, and others. If you’re lucky, you will be able to see the aurora lights. It’s important to know that this is not guaranteed, as it depends on various factors. We were lucky enough to see them on our first night, and I must say that it was a truly unique experience. The hotel restaurant is also great, especially during night time. On one of the nights I had a reindeer steak, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I can’t say enough about how special the igloos are. You have to experience it to understand it! This is definitely a special hotel that offers an unforgettable experience to those seeking a winter and especially a Christmasy retreat. We would highly recommend it :)

Objekat Old Pine Husky Lodge, koji je smešten u gradu Sompujarvi, na 47 km od znamenitosti Koivu, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom, zajedničkim salonom i terasom. Family-style stay with very friendly staff and great surroundings. Ride with the huskies was sooo nice and the pizza was great. Thanks for everything!

Located in Sirkka, Northern Lights Village Levi offers a garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace and a bar. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk. Very comfortable, food was delicious. Nice location, excellent to enjoy the nature. Staff was helpful and polite. Lot of experiences/tours are organized by the hotel, which makes it easy to take part.

Reindeer Manor s is located at an old reindeer farm in the vicinity of Levi Resort. Guests can enjoy traditional Lappish delicacies in the on-site restaurant, which is open from November to March. Beautiful family farm. The old part is kept which makes it even more amazing. The huts are not less than perfect! Comfortable and clean and have everything needed and more. Very easy to operate and warm. Breakfast is cute and enough. Very dark at night and enabled us to see the northern lights which were not too strong. The sky was clear and we saw an endless amount of stars from our bed looking up. Very close to Levi center even closer to the southern point of the ski slopes. It is well felt that the family are investing their hearts, souls and very hard work to keep the place amazing at it is. Thank you family.

Located within Santa Claus Village, Glass Resort is set in Rovaniemi. All apartments comes with floor-to-ceiling windows, sauna and a private outdoor hot tub. Everything was amazing: location, services, staff. The resort is beautifully sitting in the middle of the forest. Sitting in a hot tub surounded by trees and snow was experience for a lifetime.

What a fantastic stay at Aurora Village. Beautiful accommodation and delicious meals. Lots of activities to do. A highlight was the Husky Sledding and the Wood Barrel Sauna/Ice Swim.

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available. The personnel was very friendly and hospitable
