The prices in the restaurant are reasonable. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a meeting when I stayed at the hotel. The Christiania Mountain & Spa is located next to Zermatt's underground funicular to the Sunnegga Ski Area, from where you can reach all the ski resorts in the area. Spectacular view of Matterhorn from balcony. Spacious room with modern design. Warm and welcoming staff (they arrange shuttle bus to take you from and to the train station for free), and gave us farewell gift of Matterhorn chocolate! Location is great, only 2mins walk from the cable station to the 5 Lake Walk. Reasonable distance from the town center.

Wonderful design, thoughtfully appointed and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities and restaurants, fantastic staff and brilliantly located. Awesome to wake up with a view of the Matterhorn. We loved our stay.
