Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel Health & medical Excellence was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and Verbena Restaurant with its own bar on site. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. THe Waldhotel in the resort is an amazing place. Astonishing views and incredible room size. The breakfast was something unique, and you have the opportunity to eat with a unique view of the mountains. I went with my spouse and we get engage there, the experience was amazing because they prepared everything for us, and they were really nice and they were in top of us every step of the preparation.

The Bürgenstock Hotel is located on the piazza, at the heart of the Bürgenstock Resort, next to the Bürgenstock funicular, which takes you down to the shipping pier (connections to Lucerne).
The resort sits on the Bürgenberg mountain and offers several restaurants with terraces, as well as panoramic views of the picturesque lake and the mountains of Central Switzerland.
Beautiful hotel with breathtaking view. Wonderful staff especially the staff at the restaurants. Excellent breakfast and service. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back again.

The view is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The breakfast is very delicious, especially the croissants and eggs benedict. The resort’s restaurants have amazing views. An electronic bidet (shattaf) is available in the bathroom.
Great place to stay. We came from US to ski. Location was great. 45 min to skiing resort and 1 hour to Zurich. Studio was small but we had everything what we need. Property managers Elisabeth and Felix were excellent. When we come next time we probably book the bigger apartment. They have different size options.
One of the best resorts in the world!
We loved this hotel, whilst not Lake facing, the alpine views are as spectacular and the hotel, being new is beautifully designed. Our room was lovely and we were able to get into it early. The spa facilities incredible and being able to use the main pool up at the resort hotel a plus.
This is an absolutely spectacular hotel! The scenery, the design, the staff ( a special thanks to Leon!). This is a 5 star hotel with all the luxury and elegance but no pretension.
The breathtakingly gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne and the mountains in the south. And of course the infinity pool and the affiliated facilities. All in all, everything is just wonderful about this amazing resort!

One of the best in terms of hospitality outside of the chain hotels I stayed in, was greet by name wherever you go. Facilities i.e Alpine pool, spa, gym, restaurant all was top notch. Only lacking is time, the resort is huge and do no justice if staying for the weekend.
Very good food. Loads of scenic hiking routes from the resort.
