Sookpoint Ocean Cottage Resort ligger i Sooke, 23 km fra Sooke-regionens museum og besøgscenter samt 3 km fra East Sooke Park. Der er gratis WiFi. Samtlige værelser på resortet har havudsigt. The location, on a cliff facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca, was fantastic. The cottage itself was very modern, well-equipped for cooking, immaculate with a great shower and deep bathtub. Even in November, the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass balcony doors are worth throwing open to see, hear and feel the sea air and waves directly below. Hummingbirds visited each day. Everything was very high quality and the staff in reception was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were straight-forward.

This beachfront resort on Cox Bay features daily surf lessons and bicycle rentals. A full kitchen is available in every accommodation and the Pacific Rim National Park is 1.5 km away. It was our first time to Pacific Sands Resort; we had a wonderful and relaxing time. The property/facilities are beautiful! It was perfect to be right on the beach-we went there several times daily with our dog to watch the waves and surfers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Surf Shack is a quaint and tasty spot for quick bite. Loved the fire pits scattered around the property for warming up!! The room was spacious and cozy- we used the fireplace a lot!

Its calm, serene and classy. The owner/management (Brent) are doing an amazing job. The floating restaurant is really nice with amazing food. Kyle is a great chef and Daneka the server was very professional. We had a little misshap when my son dropped his phone through the cracks in deck. Everyone came over to help us recover the phone. I would love to return to this property and spend some peaceful time.

Proprietor was wonderful, allowed a 1 hour late check out for we bikers to minimize the amount of time biking in the rain.
