Incredible accommodating and friendly staff who all go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and looked after.

Located just 8 km from Ragged Falls, this Dwight lakefront resort offers easy access to fishing and canoeing. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. To us this was an outstanding experience: we had a spacious room facing a beautiful garden which was visited by chipmunks and various bird species as well as a swimming lake (including sun set view). For the lake, the resort offered free to use SUPs, canoes, kajacs etc. and safety gear. After hikes into the close by Algonquin national park, the resort and lake was the perfect cool down location. The owners were extremely forthcoming, even though they suffered from lack of service staff - consequently we only once could use their breakfast offers. However, in the vicinity ( 15- 10 min by car) there were alternative breakfast places, some restaurants and a grocery store. Highly recommended for a 1st short hike or for a late afternoon trail run: the Oxtongue rapids.

Offering a private beach area, Little Hawk Resort & Marina is located in Algonquin Highlands. Paddle boats and canoes are provided at no additional cost. Restaurants was not open sadly.

Somerset Lakeside Resort features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bancroft. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This is a beautiful, scenic resort set in a quiet area. A little difficult to find along the road because the sign is small and somewhat covered by trees but once you find it you never want to leave. Our cabin had its own dock., fantastic for enjoying the sunset and watching it rise again with a cup of coffee. We would definitely stay here again. We were only there for one night due to our travel schedule but would love to return for an entire week. We spoke to some other travelers who shared that they go there every year. We can understand why!

This secluded resort overlooks Pershick Lake in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. Free WiFi access is available, and the Opeongo Heritage Trail is 1 km away. Very easy check-in and check-out procedures, fantastic location directly on the lake and very quiet. We enjoyed it very much and would have liked to stay longer

Offering a private sandy beach area, The Pines Cottage Resort is located in Oxtongue Lake. Wi-Fi, canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are provided at no extra charge at this family cottage resort. Everything is amazing, the owner Wendy is so so nice and sweet we really appreciated it. We had a really good experience, used the kayaks provided by the lake and had so much fun! Thank you Wendy

Overlooking Elephant Lake, this cottage resort in Harcourt, Ontario offers a private beach area 3 minutes’ walk away. A sauna is located on site and all cottages feature a fully equipped kitchen. Great view of the lake from the porch. Cozy cabin for the fall.

Situated in Golden Lake, 24 km from Bonnechere Provincial Park, Sands on Golden Lake features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a private beach area. Beautiful waterfront, right on the beach. Warm blankets and comfy bed. Having breakfast looking out to the lake. This was our second visit and we'll be going back.
