Great pool area and restaurant t. Friendly and helpful staff and great gym room. I loved that the pool was so huge as well as nice and clean. We had a beautiful view from our room and seen kangaroos morning and afternoon. Our room was neat and tidy and big enough for husband and 2 teenagers.short drive to Central Queensland University which was good. Also close to the road to Yeppoon.

Overlooking the pristine environs of the Pumicestone Passage with the famous Glass House Mountains as a backdrop, Rumba Beach Resort is located in the heart of Caloundra on the beachfront and... Great hotel in a beautiful location. The pools and spa are great. Live music and a good bar. Very quiet during the night. Very good layout of the apartment with a big balcony overlooking the pool.

We had an excellent experience at the retreat! The yurt(we stayed in “yugen”) was clean and cozy, providing a perfect balance for the varying temperatures- with air conditioning during hot days and radiators to keep us warm on cooler nights. It truly felt like every detail was thoughtfully considered. The breakfast was simple, but satisfying with an amazing view over the mountains and seeing kangaroos jumping around up close. We will definitely return and highly recommend this resort!

The apartment was fabulous, so peaceful. There are fly screens on all the windows which allowed the air to travel through it. The beds were very comfortable. There was a double shower and two sinks. The view across the water was spectacular. There was a huge outdoor deck with table and chairs. Able to park our car under cover. We used the swimming pool located at the front of the property which was well maintained, along with the beautifully kept grounds. An easy walk to the restaurant, Sails. We ate there twice - the food was wonderful. The property would benefit some loungers as the upright chairs aren't very relaxing. Close to the jetty where the wild dolphins come to be fed - magical. Definitely a great place to relax. Near an IGA for supplies.
