Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
We mostly chose this hotel as it did not have a sneaky "Resort Fee" like the others in the area. Room was good sized and had recently been renovated from when we stayed 6 years before. The tile floors were very clean and it had a nice balcony, with a view of the harbor and beach park. Some plates and cutlery were provided. Bonus was the elderly guard cat always snoozing at the entrance.
Great value for the price. We had the corner room with windows overlooking the bay on 2 sides. This isn’t a luxury hotel by any means but for the price it cannot be beat!
The ocean veiw room on the 5th floor was exceptonal. The first room the had us in had a veiw of the roof and roftop equipment. I would highly recommend te ocean veiw room. Staff upgraded us for free but It would have been tragic to have to have spend 4 days looking at that roof. The staff at the hotel from front desk, valet, house keeping staff, bar staff, entertainment, was all to shelf. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.
A very charming inn in a truly Hawaiian environment. I would choose this authentic, beautiful, natural setting over a Hilo beach resort anytime! The sound of the Falls and the walk down the garden path was enchanting. A wonderful find and a yummy breakfast!
Jenipher and David are great hosts: friendly, welcoming and very generous. Everything is exactly how it is described and pictures are genuine. Very clean, comfortable, lots of useful amenities and more! So well-organized and private. Beautifully decorated and inviting. Location-wise, perfect to explore volcano country and more! Book, you’ll definitely enjoy this luxury suite!
We stayed at a Sheraton in Waikiki Beach, and a resort in Kona and the Hilo Reeds Bay hotel was my family's favorite of the three. They said the beds were the most comfortable and they loved the setting. It was the one hotel they wished they had more time at.
