Exceptional place and team, the island is beautiful and sacred. The team are so wonderful. Stayed there six nights and could've stayed more . Most of all the sustainability and ethics of the place is world class and leading in eco tourism. It's a little patch of paradise that is making our oceans and world better. Worth every penny!

A great place if you want to experience and enjoy the island. The food is excellent, the staff are always ready to help, the hotel is designed for a small number of people and we did not feel the presence of other people. The personalized beach is top. Large territory on which live monkeys! We felt really on a tropical island! The special dinner by the pool did not leave us indifferent! Thank you Maharaja, we will be back !

The staff is warm, the room allocated to us was very spacious and clean... Your staff is caring, respectful and responsive to the needs of the client.... I can go on for the whole day.... One word for the Resort FABULOUS 😍🤩
The convenience of having golf facilities just steps away from my accommodation, combined with the service and amenities of the hotel, made for a truly good stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to any golfer looking for a golfing experience paired with the comforts of a luxury retreat in Zanzibar. After all the hotel has the only Golf Course in Zanzibar.
The resort was very clean housekeeping did a very good job .food wasn't bad and all the staff was very friendly, helpful and always smiling .my best one was Saimon Hussan, seeing his smiling and welcoming face is golden..Pauline E.Ryoba receptionist. winnie .keep up that good work and stay blessed 🙌 and Jacq thank you so much for everything hope to see you soon
Mizingani is situated so perfectly if staying in Stone Town, we walked 150m to meet our stone town tour guide at the Old Fort. The night market is 100m away and worth seeing. Perfect for a short stay in stone town before heading to the beach resorts.
We booked for a short stay in stone town having been at a beach resort for the majority of our holiday in Zanzibar. Location was ok but down an alleyway which I wouldn't want to walk down at night.
The view from this hotel is excellent. The bed was comfortable. One could walk down to the beach easily. If you are on a very tight budget, this is an ideal place to stay, do not expect the usual luxuries associated with beach resorts. If you like a rustic feel of an old inn, with weathered walkways, steps and exteriors of the buildings, then you will be at home.
We spent 2 nights in this place. our goal was to play golf in there.
what can I say - it’s a big resort hotel, there are a lot of activities you can do. they have tennis, golf, billiard and mini-golf
there are several swimming pools
a lot of plans, ocean view is really nice
about the room - it’s a big old-fashioned and maybe need to fresh a bit, but clean and comfortable
to problem with water pressure (what is normal in Africa)
we had all-inclusive, they have enough variety of food you can choose
Close to Zanzibar airport. Just 15-20 minutes to walk. Check-in from 12.00 - very convenient, if you are traveling from beach resort. Caffe-bar close to reception, opened all 24 hours. Fridge and TV set in the room - not common for the hotels in Zanzibar.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant are amazing and the pool is wonderful. It's also on a beautiful quiet beach. The rooms are comfortable and the staff put in a lot of effort to make your stay memorable. The gardens are also stunning. I would recommend it to anyone who prefers a quiet beach resort. I would definitely go back.
