We had an amazing stay. From the pool to the food, everything was amazing. There is a small restaurant on site which serves delicious food at a fair price. The owner and her team went above and beyond with passion and a smile. We visited multiple places across Zanzibar and this was our favorite spot.

This beach is quiet, great for romance and couple time. I had an ocean view room but being on the first floor behind all the lounge chairs and all, it wasn't very private to enjoy the view in the evening. I requested a balcony but was told it wasn't held for me. the beds do not face the window so in order to appreciate the ocean view room I suppose you would just stand at the window. The room was very disappointing. This used to be a Hilton double tree but now its Bonoy Marriott which of course I expected better from a Marriott.

By far this is the nicest hotel in Zanzibar. The best part is the water is roped off so boats, jet skis etc can not go through the area keeping the water calm . It makes all the difference because we stayed at a hotel right next door that wasn’t roped off and all the boats, jet skis, horses and crowds make it not as calm and serene. They also have security so they don’t allow anyone to lay out or solicit especially when the tide is high. People can walk down the beach but it doesn’t allow people onto the property unless you are staying there so keeps it nice and private . I believe they only have 100 rooms also . The bungalow is perfect and service was impeccable. Design was gorgeous! They also offer different options like booking cooking classes, yoga , ping pong , night bonfires with amazing local dancers performing . Many options for variety if you choose.

Everything was fine - nothing great but certainly nothing terrible either. It felt like a bit of a stereotypical all-inclusive resort with all facilities as you'd expect but not much character or personality. There's good access to the beach and it's in a good location for accessing Nungwi and popular nearby bars and restaurants.

Great hotel and all inclusive food and drink selection. There is the main buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also 3 specialty restaurants that you may book for dinner. Buffet food selection was amazing - never seen so much choice. Resort staff were friendly and helpful. A very modern and clean resort with nice gardens. 4 nice pools. We stayed in a sea facing room on 9th floor with a great view.

Tanzinite beach resort was amazing we loved every moment.The staff were very friendly.Our room was awesome.The location was the best.We walked on the beach in low tide and swam during high tide.The pool was also so nice to swim in.They say you should not go in may as it rains.Yes it rains but for 10 min and the sun comes out again it's so nice.The rain cools everything down.We loved it
Perfect friendly staff, Shafii was doing his best to meet our demands, even the manager Mr Iman was doing far above his duties in an uneasy situation (mobile left behind in the streetmarket and given back!). The restaurant and other staff was perfect as well. Thank you for all, it could hardly be better. It is definitelly not a luxury resort like elsewhere, more like homely cute family smallish resort. You feel safe (day and night guard) and nursed. Lukas+family
We enjoyed the position of the resort, who's definitely one of the best spots of the island.
In general the atmosphere was nice and plesant. The staff, in all the dinning areas, is always smiling and willing to help and make sure you don't miss anything. Always nice and friendly.
We had the All Inclusive package, and we recommend it to you a 100%.
