Staff were so incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were great! We appreciate their promptness and willingness to accommodate our requests and inquiries. We kayaked, dived the nearby wrecks, rented a motorbike to explore the next town over and basked in the beautiful view.

La Estancia Busuanga, hotel in Busuanga

Located in Busuanga in the Palawan Region, 43 mi from Coron, La Estancia Busuanga features an outdoor pool and views of the sea.

Location was close to black island and picturesque. The rooms were large with balconies over the water. The free kayak wasn’t nice. In terms of food, it was lovely to experience homestyle local cooking. The staff was friendly.

Palawan SandCastles, hotel in Busuanga

Set amid lush greenery, Palawan SandCastles offers eco-friendly and peaceful accommodations in Busuanga.

A Serene Escape at Palawan Sandcastles - Perfect for Those Seeking Peace and Adventure My stay at Palawan Sandcastles from August 9 to 16 was nothing short of exceptional. Despite being in the middle of renovations, the resort graciously opened its doors to us, providing a level of hospitality that truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Their caring and friendly demeanor, along with their willingness to accommodate all our requests, made our stay incredibly comfortable and personalized. The resort itself is a hidden gem, perfectly situated on a peaceful beachfront that offers a serene escape from the busier areas of Coron. If you're looking to avoid the crowds and simply relax, Palawan Sandcastles is the ideal place. The tranquil atmosphere, coupled with the calming sound of the waves, creates a truly rejuvenating environment. For those seeking a bit of adventure, the resort also offers exciting tours, such as the dugong adventures, which provide a unique opportunity to experience the local wildlife. Despite August typically being considered the off-season, we were pleasantly surprised by the weather. Only brief rains passed through this part of Busuanga, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings without any major disruptions. In summary, Palawan Sandcastles is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful setting while still having access to unique experiences. The combination of the caring staff, beautiful beachfront, and the serene atmosphere makes it a must-visit for those seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Sangat Island Dive Resort, hotel in Busuanga

- In close proximity to some of Coron's most fabulous diving spots, Sangat Island Dove Resort offers fan-cooled accommodations, including all meals, return airport transfers and WiFi.

I had a fantastic time in Sangat, would recommend it to anyone without hesitation, and hope to be back in the not too distant future. The wrecks were epic, the food was really nice (unexpectedly so, even!), and the location is amazing, with the sound of waves breaking a couple of meters from my bed something that I already miss. That said, to me, Dive Center and Resort staff steal the show: pretty much everyone was smiling and friendly and went out of their way to help, with impeccable organization thrown in on top (which, I guess, makes the return to the "real world" outside Sangat even harder). So, overall, I'd argue the resort is a great value proposition for those hunting for a bargain, and I would like to thank everyone again for being so amazing ;-)

We spent only 2 nights in Ocam Ocam and the only regret was not to stay longer. The owner and the people of the village are so welcoming! Indeed, if you're looking for luxurious resorts, go on your way. However, if meeting with local people, and genuine experience in Philippines, Seafront cottage is perfect. It is a very relaxing place with simplicity.

Great view and good double room with view. BUT The common areas and restaurant spaces lack comfortable seating options. If you are over 30 and have back issues you might not find a good place to sit. The staff is friendly but lack professionalism regarding excursions and trAnsport solutions. The resort could be amazing but there is still work to do to achieve that. The food is good but the restaurant opening times are absurd (7.30 close).

Amazing location, the beach is gorgeous (to shallow to swim though), the food is excellent and the service very personalized. The team did everything they could (and more) to make our stay memorable! If you can splurge and get the luxury rooms, they are worth the upgrade! A perfect place to relax.

The staff, the tranquility, and the views. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made our stay so much fun. They cooked some incredible food for us (freshly cooked seafood was the best!) and helped us with any questions about where to go and what to do. Scooter hire is necessary to do anything other than relax at the resort or take paid tours from the resort.

The resort staff were welcoming and helpful. We went on a day trip to Black Island, Marlo our guide was an absolute pleasure and took very good care of us throughout. We also had the best massage of our lives whilst at the resort, the food was above average and delicious.

The Cocovana is a charming place with a natural spring swimming pool right next to the see with a panoramic view on the islands. All the dishes in the restaurant are home-made. Ana, Sarah, Joël and the rest of the team really did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible with the kids. We will keep very good memories of our stay in Busuanga at the Cocovana Beach Resort.
