An excellent and welcoming hotel in the Chitwan National Park area. Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed the rich breakfast, vegetables, fruit and if the breakfast was not buffet style, it was possible to order directly with the chef's recommendation. Quiet outdoor seating by the pool. The insulation from the jungle heat was fantastic. Accommodation in cabins with all comfort and cleanliness. Everything down to the last detail. Foods generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is generally a matter of Nepal. The air conditioning is perfect and necessary, the toilet is clean, daily cleaning, the possibility to make coffee, fast internet as a matter of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. Safari is a chapter unto itself. Breakfast in the jungle is inimitable. We saw a rhino right across the river from the hotel. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. The price level is excellent, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. A clear choice for us.

Staying at the Sanctuary has been the most incredible experience in Nepal. The resort is stunning, so modern but also authentic built with local materials and practices. The staff is always one step ahead, anticipating needs before you even think to ask. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff's genuine kindness.
Our jeep safari was an absolute highlight of the trip, but what made the experience truly exceptional was our fantastic guide, Tulsi, and driver. From the moment we set off, Tulsi’s knowledge and passion for wildlife were evident. He pointed out animals we would have never spotted on our own, sharing fascinating insights about their behaviors, habitats, and the surrounding environment. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it made each sighting feel even more special. We saw Rhynos, deers, wild boar, vultures, etc.
I also have to mention the food! Every meal was fantastic, some in the main restaurant and some in our room. Even the safari pack lunch was delicious!
Staying at the Sanctuary was more than just a getaway—it was an experience that left a lasting impact on our hearts and minds.
Thanks Tulsi and team !

The resort is beautiful and thoughtfully put together. The rooms are spacious and clean. The resort and pool overlook the river and edge of the national park, so you can sometimes see animals. It is really peaceful as it is a secluded location and effort has been put into cultivating different varieties of plants/trees on the grounds - you can also see some wildlife in the resort. Food was fantastic and food prices were not unreasonable. Staff were wonderful and incredibly attentive.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful, fantastically located resort overlooking the Rapti River and Chitwan Safari Park. What really made the experience, beyond the gorgeous facilities and location, was the staff - who were incredibly thoughtful, attentive and friendly. Their Nepali hospitality made the experience exceptional.
The resort itself is very beautiful and the huts are very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and very well maintained. From the pool you can see the jungle, in the mornings you can see rhinos from there!
We also visited the spa, the massage was very professional and good.
The staff will go above and beyond to accommodate every wish you might have.
