We had a large suite so enjoy the space and had a beautiful balcony, nice that it had a restaurant attached to the resort. It was clean, great location and nice staff. The staff who assisted us in prior booking arrangements went above and beyond, since we made some changes in rooms and holding the reservation with the issues we incurred getting a deposit there on time.
We have been going to Cocos about 8 to 10
Years. The best staff in Mexico. Most of them we know. The sea and storms in summer months has been hard on the beach.
The increase in cost since covid is understandable. And still good value as an all inclusive. The mix staying there is half local families with children. Half expats like us and tourists from Canada. A handful of Americans and europeans. It is the mix we love.
we liked the location of the hotel - had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the beach/ocean The grounds are kept extremely clean as well as the rooms. the staff were very friendly and extremely supportive when we were needing some help due to illness.
We enjoyed watching the many families taking part in the organized activities by the very exuberant recreation director
this resort is supported by many Mexican families on vacation and a few "gringos" who come yearly. there is entertainment offered most evenings.
