Truly a hidden gem. Property is located a short drive to the Lion Rock and other tourist attractions. The villa was spacious and comfortable for our Group. We had some concerns when we arrived, but the team was quick enough to address all of them in a very short time and made sure we would have a great time at the property.
Food was nice, and the property has a massive swimming pool. All in all, great place to spend a couple of nights and will visit again!

While the location was outside of the area for most of the town’s amenities, its relative isolation meant for a quiet, more peaceful stay. Also saw some (harmless) wildlife near the huts: peacocks and peahens, other colorful birds, lizards, frogs etc. The staff was flexible and accommodating; if I ever return to Sigiriya, I will plan to return to Chena Huts.

What made our stay really memorable is the staff, from front desk agents, to waiters at the restaurants, to the guys driving us around with buggies, to people servicing our room. They have been amazingly kind and hospitable with us. It is difficult to pick one in particular, but if we have to name one we would say Kusal, who on our last day came especially to pick us from the lake and drove us back to the reception. Not only he gave us a small tour but also told us lots of interesting facts about the fishermen and the animals living in the area around the lak

Excellent large rooms , great pool ( but see comment below re chlorine), lovely staff, Excellent service around pool with top notch drinks, owners are very visible and very keen to ensure you have a good stay , Excellent Sri Lankan welcome, very helpful in arranging our transfer too , would recommend as a great all round resort
The Resort was like a little private paradise as they have a few private bungalows and don’t accept a numerous amount of guests. In addition the pool and restaurant area were very nice, giving the option of a various food menu (typical srilankan and international).
The Staff was probably the greatest part of our stay as they were very kind and always satisfied our needs.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying a few days in Sigyria.
The resort was everything you could dream about in a holiday. A luxury in the middle of Sigiriya‘s famous rocks and a pool to enjoy the view from. The service and the room was fabulous, the bed was the comfiest we slept in so far. Since we spent our honeymoon there we could not have asked for a more memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaveri Resort; it was like being in a jungle with roomy accommodations and a gorgeous outlook. Our good stay was further enhanced by the outstanding service and delicious meals. Our experience was improved overall by being close to the lake. Highly recommended
3 brothers managing the family resort, the bar at the pool, the safari activity (although we did not do it with Palmyra Nature Resort since we did not know until we arrived) with kindness, commitment.
Home-cooked dinner was possible and if not, one of the brothers could take us by tuk-tuk to the nearest restaurant on the main road
Friendly family resort-style hotel near the World Heritage site. Very clean with well appointed rooms, nice bar, pool and restaurant. Highly recommended!
The view…. well, what can we say. Next level unbelievable. Photos do not do this hotel justice. Everywhere you go - luxury. Spa music plays and relaxes across the resort. Food is delicious. They ordered us a Tuktuk for sunrise which was the highlight of our trip
