Travelers who really want to “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal on-site amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions, and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas, or apartments.
Loved the availability to check in early for a very small fee and the location is amazing. The apartment style is excellent too as it was ample room with the kitchenette separate from the bath and the bedroom. Small closet was helpful plus desk and side tables. Even having a hallway felt like a luxury. Towels and bath supplies were very luxurious and I would stay here again. Location was super good -- close to a shrine, a shopping street and of course a short walk to Gion. Loved this!
For Japan, we got a very spacious room with big bed. The hotel gives you a feeling of luxury and is also aesthetically pleasing. Delicious breakfasts, good location.
The place was perfect, we wanted the experience of a capsule hotel, but wanted to sleep in a double bed.
The pocket hotel brings aspects of a capsule hotel (free to use pyjamas, slippers, toiletries etc) but also has the luxury of your own room.
The shared bathrooms were lovely, with entire shower areas instead of just stalls, hairdryers, nice shampoo/body wash, q-tips and more.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It has a main subway right outside the front entrance.
The ammenities were amazing, the onsen was so nice and so was the bedroom; the lady running the place was an absolute gem and was so nice to speak with every day. Made it feel like you were returning home to a home stay every night :)
The whole room would be cleaned, fresh towels and robes each day with a new snack on the bedside. It was truly luxury.
We didn take tbe breakfast but really enjoyed the free drinks and nibbles at night and enjoyed meeting other guests there. Coffee cake and chocolate as well as wide range of alcoholic and not drinks. A true luxury hotel in all aspects. So close to metro infact next door to it. Higashiyama station that takes you to city and easy access Nara via JR line interchange so no need tour there. We did other tours though of Gion and Sagano train.
Truly an exceptional property, in every way. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Luxury ambience and amenities. The property has lots of character and lovely design elements. Surely one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed in, ever in my life! Felt sad when it was time to check out 😊.
Amazing facilities, super clean and calm environment.
We loved the bathroom and bath products it felt like we lived in a spa resort in the middle of Kyoto. Great coffee too.
Amazing place exceeding expectation. Hotel feels more like a spa resort than a hotel, providing yukatas and pajamas, noodles, snacks and tea (for free), and all the flooring is tatami. Rooms are relatively spacious (for Japan) and exceedingly clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel's onsen is relatively large and very clean. Breakfast is generally local food and is delicious.
